Denise has announced the release of its first plugin Saturator, a new audio effect for adding color and depth to individual tracks and bus groups.
The Denise idea was founded in early 2018 by four passionate musicians. The goal was in theory quite simple, to create a brand-new range of plug-ins that are not only quick and simple-to-use, but also offer something incredibly powerful that producers can turn to when they need an additional sonic boost.
The new platform is bringing completely fresh-sounding controls to your music making experience, for example a continuous rms control for their dedicated New York Compressor, a Saturator with dynamic controls and Transient Booster with a peak-width control. After months of rigorous planning and testing with respected producers in their field, the team are finally ready to launch the first of their series, The Denise Saturator.
The Denise Saturator is a lightweight but powerful audio effect for adding color and depth to individual tracks and bus-groups. Its deceptively straightforward interface gets you results fasts, but don’t be fooled: the plug-in features continuous ‘transients’ and ‘smooth’ controls that provide you with a flexible and intuitive way to let through the transients in your track and emulate the pleasing smooth sound of tape hysteresis.
Together with its different timbre styles, auto-makeup and stereo-link options, the Denise Saturator gives you many ways to shape your sound, with minimal CPU load.
“This is a type of saturator I never heard before, interesting stuff can be achieved. – Igor Korzhov”
The plugin (VST/VST3/AU) is available exclusively from the Denise website priced at 19 EUR. A free trial version is also available.
