AudioKit Pro has launched version 1.0 of Digital D1, the 64-voice hybrid virtual analog/PCM synthesizer for iPad.
The update comes with over 200 new presets in three sound banks and new per-voice filter-key tracking knobs.
Recommended if you like classic digital synths like the D-50, JD-990, 01/W, Wavestation, and more. This app does not sample ANY of those synths. It is a modern re-imagining. New sounds. New synthesis. Perfect for a modern production with a retro feel.
Changes in Digital D1 v1.0
- 100 new presets by the Audiobus forum, Including new presets from Brice Beasley, Sander Roscoe Wolff, and more.
- New bank by JEC (James Edward Crosby).
- Bonus bank of 100 presets from Preset by Vasil Ivanov (The Editor), sound designer for the M-Audio Venom synth, and others.
- Filter Key-tracking knobs added to each layer’s per-voice filter envelope (on the Layer panel).
AUv3 plugin functionality is planned for 2019, as well as a free Expansion Card with 300+ MB of new PCM samples, MPE support and video tutorial/instructions on using D1.
Digital D1 is available for $9.99 USD. The update is free for existing owners.
100% of the money raised with Digital D1 goes to support AudioKit.
