Cherry Audio has announced a free update to the recent GX-80 software synthesizer, a virtual instrument which combines the sound and features of the GX-1 “Dream Machine” and the classic CS-80 analog synthesizer from Yamaha.
Version 1.0.13 adds highly-optimized multi-threaded processing for presets that utilize the Dual Layer or Split modes. It also fixes an issue related to the state of GX-80 effects switches in Pro Tools.
GX-80 for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU, AAX and standalone) is on sale for $59 USD for a limited time (MSRP $79 USD).
Additionally, all Cherry Audio products now support macOS 13 Ventura and are fully compatible with the Apple M1 Ultra processor.
The plugins are available to purchase at the Cherry Audio store and from distributors ADSR Sounds and Plugin Boutique.
