Indefinable Audio has announced the release of a new sound library for the Omnisphere 2 virtual instrument by Spectrasonics.

Dark Energy is a sci-fi patch library that aims to help transport your music to other worlds. The library contains a total of 304 patches, 25 multis, and 156 original soundsources.

The patches of the library are split between 142 dark Soundscapes, 56 energetic BPM patches, 36 unique Impacts, and 70 out of this world Pads.

With every patch in Dark Energy, the mod wheel is used to add intensity, layering and swell. This is quite useful for scoring with the library patches in real time. User CC is always used to transform every Soundscape and Pad patch into a BPM-synched rhythmic patch. For the BPM and Impact patches, User CC dials in additional FX.

The original soundsources for Dark Energy were specifically created for the library. They are unique to say the least, and they will make great building blocks for creating your own strange and interesting patches.

Dark Energy is on sale for an introductory price of $47 USD (regular $59 USD).

The library is also included in the new Tension Bundle, alongside Tension Builder and Afraid of the Dark. The bundle is priced $95 USD (regular $119 USD), while the individual products are offered at a 20% discount until June 4th, 2021.
