Loops de la Crème has announced a sample pack featuring a collection of loops made with its upcoming Manhattan Drums jazz kit for Native Instruments Kontakt.

The library is features the sounds of a Gretsch jazz kit, with Istanbul and Avedis cymbals, a 10-channel mixer for maximum versatility, and delicious jazz grooves with infinite variations.

I’ve been having tons of fun creating tasty presets for the new library. Each preset will have its own skin and a set of 12 built-in rhythms and fill-ins. And because it’s a jazz kit, a cool function will let you perform realistic variations for all grooves in real-time using the Mod Wheel! This makes the instrument so alive, easy and fun, I can’t wait to show this to you in the next video :)

Plus the sound is really special, with some beautiful drums and two amazing crash/ride cymbals that I tried to sample as well as I could.

While working on the presets and rhythms, I recorded many audio loops directly from Kontakt’s output and created a small pack that you can download now. A nice way to hear the versatility and the types of grooves you can expect from MANHATTAN DRUMS :)

Manhattan Jazz Loops features a collection of Jazz, funk, breakbeat, rare grooves, and afrobeat drum loops. The pack is available for free in MP3 format (20 loops) or in stereo WAV (40 loops) at any price you like with a minimum of 2 EUR.
