Neural DSP has announced a new firmware update for the Quad Cortex powerful floor modeler unit.
CorOS 1.3.0 is our most ambitious update yet! It features the heavily anticipated Looper, a Freeze effect, many new and advanced virtual devices, and plenty of new features such as LED controls, Screen & Volume Lock, Lane Output Mute/Solo buttons, and lots more. The Windows audio driver has also been updated.
There are also some fundamental changes to core functionality, specifically regarding how Scene parameter changes work. It is therefore crucial that you carefully read through the changelog, specifically the “Changed” section, which details how existing functionality has been changed.
Quad Cortex owners can update to the latest firmware via Settings > Device Options > Device Updates on your device once connected to Wi-Fi. Neural DSP recommends that you create a backup before updating your firmware.
