Rob Papen has announced that the upcoming SubBoomBass 2 synthesizer instrument is scheduled to be released at the end of 2017.

The update to the SubBoomBass bass synthesizer will come with new features and improvements.

SubBoomBass 2 will set a new standard in bass synths as its name implies!

The graphical interface gets a makeover and a size upgrade, with 2 different sizes planned. Besides its analogue modeled waveforms, the sound color has been expanded with new spectrum waveforms, new creative ‘think out of the box’ high quality samples, and ‘string’ synthesis. These new features will offer fresh and new unheard sounds.

Furthermore, the synth will have an X/Y screen, a new pattern mode for running 4 sequences, and it will have the bank manager similar to Predator 2, allowing you to rate sounds and find your favorites with ease. SubBoomBass 2 will also come with a range of new presets from Rob and other sound designers.

When released, SubBoomBass 2 (VST/AU/AAX) will be available for purchase for 99 EUR/USD. The upgrade from the original version will be 39 EUR/USD. Those who purchased SubBoomBass between July 1st and October 12th qualify for a free upgrade to version 2. Once released, SubBoomBass 2 will also be part of the eXplorer4 bundle.

Starting today, the original SubBoomBass is on sale at Plugin Boutique for just 49 EUR/USD (50% off regular).
