SampleScience has released a new free sample pack titled Twisted Drums, featuring a collection of 60 samples created using a Rhythm Wolf played through an EF-111 Guitardammerung effect pedal.
The EF-111 mangle the sound source beyond recognition and the resulting output sounds like 80s arcade sound effects going mad! The EF-111 is a weird guitar pedal that does a mix of bit crushing and glissando. I think it sounds good on drums, but not so much on guitars.
This pack is definitely best suited for hard-techno, chiptune, gabba, and experimental music in general.
The royalty free pack contains 60 one-shots in 24-bit/44.1kHz Wav format (mono).
