Sonic Academy has announced an update to the ANA software synthesizer for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX). Version 2.5 now features multi-sampling for the three sample oscillators along with a number of other new features.
Now you can create beautifully deep-sampled and create exquisite instruments from right within ANA. Use this new functionality to dream up new sonic worlds across the three available multi-sampling oscillators, or go even further, blending the first three subtractive / FM oscillators to create mind-blowing soundscapes – all in one synth. Send to CMD and ARP whilst modulating via the G-ENV, and the possibilities are endless. ANA 2.5 has just become the must-have synth for all serious producers out there.
The update ships with a new preset pack, utilizing the multi-sampling engine and includes Steinway pianos, strings, choirs, guitars and more – a total of 30 sampled instruments and 100 new presets.
Version 2.5 also adds pitch drift to each of the oscillators, allowing you to control micro changes in pitch with each note press to mimic classic analogue sound more closely. In the filter section, options for gain staging have been added, allowing control over how the filter drive works and thus altering the sonic qualities of the many filters on hand.
ANA 2.5 is a free update for existing users. New users can purchase ANA at Sonic Academy on sale for £84 GBP for a limited time (regular £140 GBP).
