Soundtrack Loops has recently launched a remix contest open to all aspiring remixers and producers worldwide.
An opportunity to remix Brittany Bindrim’s track “Volcano”, entrants have the chance to win a 1010 Music NanoBox Lemondrop granular synthesizer, Soundtrack Loops sound libraries, a Brittany Bindrim merch bundle, a feature on the Seastorm Maestros digital EP to be released by Metropolis Records, and more.
Synth-pop artist and composer Brittany Bindrim released her long-awaited debut album Velella Velella March 8, 2024 on Metropolis Records. Already known for her catchy melodies and powerhouse vocal performances in her band I:Scintilla, she ventures into new sonic terrains as a solo artist with hard-hitting, edgy tracks featuring punishing beats and harsh synthesizers.
From moody, ethereal ballads to gritty dance bangers, Velella Velella showcases both the versatility and evolution of her work. Channeling transformation, sociopolitical climates, and expeditions to understand the darker side of human nature, her vulnerable and unapologetic lyrics showcase themes of self-discovery, empathy, apathy, and growth.
Registered Soundtrack Loops users can download the vocal stems and MIDI files to create a remix (registration is free). The deadline for entries is June 28th, 2024, and winners will be announced on July 11th, 2024.
