Spitfire Audio has launched a Piano Day sale, offering a 40% discount on selected virtual piano instruments for a few days only.
Piano Day celebrates the instrument that has been at the forefront of music making for centuries and falls on the 88th day of the year, reflecting the number of keys on a piano. To bring us all together and continue its legacy, we are offering you 40% off four of our piano libraries, until midnight Sunday 29th March
The promotion includes Olafur Arnalds Composer Toolkit, Hauschka Composer Toolkit, Hans Zimmer Piano and Orchestral Grand Piano.
Oliver Patrice Weder demonstrates a selection of Spitfire’s piano libraries, suitable for a variety of different musical tastes and budgets.
Until April 9th you can also still get 20% off on the new Stratus piano library made in collaboration with BAFTA-winning Icelandic composer and producer Ólafur Arnalds.
Furthermore, to celebrate Piano Day 2020 the Pianobook Community has joined together to attempt to create the world’s biggest piece of system’s music.
Inspired by the music of Steve Reich and taking a lead from Eric Whitacre’s Virtual Choirs the community has submitted over 380 parts to make up the final piece. You can check out all the submissions with the hashtag #pianobookpianoday2020 on YouTube.
The world premiere of the final piece will be on Saturday March 28th, 2020, at 5pm GMT on the Spitfire Audio YouTube Channel.
Make sure to check the Pianobook library for many great sampled instruments, available to download for free.
