Spitfire Audio continues its LABS series of free virtual instruments with Music Box, featuring two music boxes that offer bewitching sounds.
One was made and sampled by award-winning composer and artist Hannah Peel, and features on her score for HBO’s Game of Thrones: The Last Watch. It was made by hand printing notations on paper with a hole puncher — the sound of the paper rolling through the box adds a beautiful texture.
The second music box was sampled at Spitfire Studios on top of a piano, for extra resonance.
