TheZhe has announced an update to TheExpressor, a free colored upwards/downwards expander/compressor effect plugin for Windows and Mac.
Version 1.1.0 of the dynamics processor comes with a new, user-friendly interface, and some other improvements.
Additionally, TheZhe has announced that all past and future plugins on its Ko-fi page are now free as “pay what you like” downloads.
Development still depends on donations, but there are no longer minimum prices for plugins. This offer includes TheChorus (previously priced $10 USD), a versatile virtual analog chorus effect that combines digital chorus features with a hybrid analog-inspired bucket-brigade device (BBD)/ladder filter stage.
The plugins are available in VST3 and AU formats.
