United Plugins has released an update to the Autoformer plugin, an effect that combines an analog like pre-amp with automatic volume function and a gentle compressor.
Version 1.1 adds a control for Gate in the Balancer section. All settings made with the previous version have the Gate turned on by default, but from now you can turn the gate off if you want to do so.
