Native Instruments Kontakt comes with a huge sample library, featuring over 1,000 instruments spanning a wide range of styles.

If that’s not enough for you, there are also many free Kontakt instruments available for download on the internet.

    Thanks for the link Petter. I couldn’t find any Kontakt instruments at Precisionsound, but the free soundfonts can be used in Kontakt as well.

    Thx for the new and working Depone-link.

    The sample78 link gives me an error: “The Squarespace account sample78 is not currently available.”

    The Modular samples link gives some great synths. Not without any problems though. The 6GB Korg Z1 zip is corrupt (downloaded twice), but winrar got the files out anyway. For most of the synths, the kontakt instruments needed a batchrepair to re-find the samples. Some fiddling (I don’t know if that’s correct english) needed, but do-able.

      Probably none… Kontakt Player compatibility is a premium, so I doubt any freebies include a license to use it in the Player version. If I find one that is compatible I will make sure to explicitly mention it.

          I would expect pretty much all of them to work, but only in demo mode which runs just for 30 mins…

    hi ronnie, as u seem to be very expert on KONTAKT, i really need help as im having troubles since ages, since i had cubase sx, than nuendo 3, than cubase 4 LE and now cubase 5 original one, used kontakt since versione 2, never had a real proper working with it!!! always troubles, today as well, just restarted my iMac, made a new format last night and this morning ive installed a couple of vst and kontakt 5 too, if i click on ADD LIBRARY it said cant find any library, if i search it manually it doesnt find it either, how can i do? is like this since ver so isnt a software problem or a pc/mac problems as it has been the same since years and with different machines and vst, and im not the only one with this trouble as iìs full of people asking the same on the net and if in the Ni site there is a page about this, it means isnt very easy, and doesnt work even following the original site intructions… do u have a mail to write u or a skype contact?
