The Tetroid game, programmed by Carsten Waechter (aka Toxie from the Apocalypse Inc demogroup), is some kind of psychedelic Tetris clone.

Each level in the game features music and sound effects by artists that may or may not have appeared in the Entity netlabel catalog.

Teroid 2012 is available as a free download from archive.org.

farbrausch V2

farbrausch has released version 1.5 of V2, a synthesizer system used in the farbrausch demoscene releases.

Here it is – the synthesizer that was responsible for creating all sounds in the famous farbrausch intros such as .the .product, poemtoahorse, Candytron, Flybye and of course the 96 kilobyte shoot-em-up .kkrieger, and the 177 kilobyte miracle called debris. 1337haxors.de makes it available to YOU – from this time on you can download all tools necessary for composing as well as a library that you can put into your own productions at your own will. So, enjoy!

Two downloads are available:

  1. The content creation tools (new: version 1.5, for musicians and .werkkzeug users) – this package contains the V2 synthesizer in VSTi (Windows) and Buzz machine form as well as a WinAMP plugin that allows you to listen to your V2 songs in a comfortable manner.
  2. The libv2 (new: version 1.5, for programmers) – the V2 synthesizer and player as static library for easy including into your own programs. Contains an example project which not only shows how to use libv2 but also is a great lesson in getting your Win32 executables small.

These packages include the singing V2 speech synth, featured in Candytron, the Breakpoint ’04 invitation by MFX and others.

Visit the V2 synthesizer system page for more information.
