Kriminal has released Omaha, a free VST instrument for Windows, inspired by the Yamaha CS-5 synthesizer.

Kriminal has released Felix, a freeware synthesizer inspired by the 1981 synth, the Octave Kitten.

The real powerful area of the Kitten was the modulation – the LFO / Sample+Hold routing to modulate the ADSR / VCO / VCF – it could produce many interesting effects and S&H sounds – ive tried to capture this in FELIX, as well as making it versatile in the normal spectrum of sounds.

• 2 SubOsc’s : square (-1 and -2 oct).
• VCF – 4pole LP self oscillating filter.

Inspired by the EDP Gnat, Mozi is by no means an emulation.

Kriminal has released version 1.1 of Krolar SX-2, a freeware VST instrument for Windows, inspired by the Roland SH-2.

Changes in Krolar SX2 v1.1

• New 24dB LP filter.
• New EG’s.
• LFO is free running.
• AutoBend range and time increased.
• OSC output increased.
• Mono mode, removed ‘low note priority’.
• Fixed: in gate mode, click on key release.
• Fixed: LFO Delay not ‘fading’ correctly.
