Music-Society has announced the release of CBW01, a free virtual drum machine instrument by Saltline.

CBW01 features 4 drum hit editors and 1 effects section. Each editor and the effect section has independent midi controls including, Midi Channel, Midi note Hi and Lo (key range) and 16 modulation slots (sources, pitch wheel, mod wheel, velocity and key follow). This allows for greater dynamics whilst playing. See the feature list below for each drum hit’s modulation destination possibilities. The kick editor also has a space for writing patch information, hit channel, key range etc. This helps when sharing presets or when your patches are getting a little complex you can make notes.
The CBW01 plug-in for Windows (VST) is free to registered Music-Society member (registration is free).

Saltline has announced it is offering its Cadence effect plug-in on its Facebook page for a limited time.
This month you can download our first VST effect (Cadence) for free, available now until the end of July.
All you need to do is “like” our page to get your hands on this LFO driven filter and pan effect.

Saltline has announced the release of Liść-step, a step sequencer/LFO controlled state variable filter effect plug-in for Windows.
Liść-step is a simple state variable filter. The cutoff frequency can be controlled in 2 ways, via the 16 step sequencer or low frequency oscillator. Liść-step allows the user to quickly create modulated filter patterns with ease.
Liść-step is the first effect plug-in in Saltline’s Drzewo series of plug-ins.

FreePlayer Ltd. has announced that FreePlayer is now available to pre-order.
FreePlayer, which allows guitarists to control effects by motion and touch, consists of a hardware attachment for the guitar and a software application that hosts VST plug-ins and controls MIDI devices. A Windows version is offered initially, with other operating systems to follow.
The first models to be made available are:
