Plughugger has announced a new cinematic soundset for Omnisphere, which sets the focus on cinematic sounds with lots of movement in them.
Distorted Evolution Movement is part of the Distorted Evolution series, a collection of sound expanders with the primary design goal to draw inspiration from the early works of Spectrasonics.
Back in the day when sound libraries came on CD-ROMs for big clunky hardware samplers, Spectrasonics quickly became a name in the movie and TV-scoring world thanks to their Distorted Reality sound libraries. Distorted Evolution is based on the three most significant sound libraries Spectrasonics did in that time: Distorted Reality, Distorted Reality 2 and Bizarre Guitar.
No other sounds have been used to create the sounds in this library.
Together with the single sounds Plughugger also created 50 multi sounds where they have stacked many layers to create more complex soundscapes and ideas of how to use the sounds.
Distorted Evolution 4: Movement contains 285 sounds:
- 124 Arpeggios & Rhythmic sounds.
- 3 Pads & Strings.
- 108 Textures and Soundscapes.
- 50 Multi patches.
Distorted Evolution 4 is part of the upcoming 5-part Distorted Evolution Bundle. Anyone who owns three parts of the Distorted Evolution series can upgrade to the full bundle for free.
In other words, you buy three parts – you get the remaining two for free. If you already own three parts of the collection, send Plughugger a message and they will send you the fourth one for free, and the fifth one when it’s released later in 2020.
Distorted Evolution 4 is available for the intro price of 9.90 EUR with coupon code MOVEMENT at the checkout (regular 24.90 EUR). The offer is valid until April 12th, 2020.
