StormGate1 is an unique and innovative amplitude rhythmic gating effect which lets you draw the gating patterns freely by hand or with the aid of powerful drawing tools.
It can be used as a creative tool to create rhythmic parts out of anything (pads, noises, etc…), as an enveloper, or even like a simple but powerful dynamics processor to simulate compressor sidechaining or in more creative manners.
Gate mate features 208 presets for the Stormgate1 plug-in; 13 programs with each 16 patterns (A-P).

One Small Clue has announced the release of new drum kits for Poise, the percussion sampler VST instrument for Windows PC.
Poise now ships with an exclusive set of 30 drum kits created by Reason Lahalla and TeamDNR. (http://teamdnr.mediashift.net)
The drum kits have been designed to provide a variety of bread and butter ‘go to’ drum sounds. Also included is 200 individual cells which contain effect and modulation configurations. This allows individual drum hits to be easily mixed and matched for custom drum kit creation.
The samples in these kits were created using a variety gear including an Alesis Micron, Korg Electribe, AraldFX DKS Pro Drum Synthesizer and a Pearl Export Custom Drum Kit.
Registered customers can download the drum kits from the members page of the One Small Clue website.
AraldFX has released version 1.0.7 of DKS Pro, a drum synthesizer VST instrument plug-in for Windows and Mac.
This synthesizer can accurately emulate many of the classic electronic drums machine sounds, but through its extra FM and physical drum shell modeling features can go much further, even giving an interesting acoustic touch to synthesized sounds.

Corrected the compressor Vu-Meter display issues.
Important: on PC name VST plug-in DLL changed from DKS D-Hammer to AraldFX DKS PRO. For backward compatibility with some hosts that rely on the DLL name instead of the plug-in internal identifier you may need to manually rename the DLL.
DKS Pro is now available for a reduced price of $75 USD (previously $125). A demo version of DKS Pro can be downloaded from the product page.
A new version of DKS Pro is coming in 2009. It will have an extremely interesting upgrade price and an impressive list of features according to AraldFX.
AraldFX has released version 1.2 of AXV5, a freeware effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.
AVX5 is a 2 to 5 bands cross-over effect for modular and semi-modular hosts such as Ableton Live, EnergyXT, Plogue Bidule, etc. It splits the signal in bands and routes them to separate outputs.
AXV5 is available as a freeware VST effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.
AraldFX has released version 1.0f of DKS Pro, a powerful drum synth VST instrument which combines drum synthesis, simple FM synthesis, physical modeling of the drum shell, and a powerful set of effects.
Changes in DKS Pro v1.0f
Corrected an envelope bug which caused random clicks at the end of the sounds when a distortion with a high boost was applied.
The frequencies of the oscillators and noise cutoff are now shown also as MIDI notes with cents shift.
Added a hold stage to the envelopes.
Added a mid-point control to the envelope’s attack stage.
Added a mid-point control to the release attack stage.
Added a MIDI gate mode (within the choke/mute groups selector), so you can control the length of the sound with the MIDI note.
Note: it is possible to add more punch or “fatness” to any of the existing sounds by using the new envelope features. To add more punch you should lower the midpoint of the release stage and increase the hold time, if necessary. To make a drums sound “fatter” you can try increasing the mid point of the envelope. The original DKS PRO midpoint was set to -30dB.
DKS Pro is available for Windows and Mac for $135 USD. A demo is available for download (produces some background noise and noise bursts from time to time).
