Tone2 announces Ambishpere soundset for RayBlaster

Tone2 Audiosoftware has announced Ambisphere, a new soundset for the RayBlaster impulse modeling software synthesizer for Windows and Mac.

The Ambisphere soundset is scheduled for release in early March, 2013.

Tone2 updates ElectraX to v1.4 incl. 64-bit Mac support

Tone2 has released version 1.4 of the ElectraX virtual synthesizer for Windows and Mac.

We are proud to announce the release of the ElectraX 1.4 update, including 64 bit Mac versions, several feature enhancements and fixes. The 1.4 update is free for all ElectraX customers.

Changes in ElectraX v1.4

  • New features:
    • 64 Bit VST & AU version for Mac (requires OSX 10.5 or higher).
    • Mouse-wheel support for list selectors and knobs (if the host supports it).
    • PDF manual can now be viewed from within the plugin (Mac).

    • Better overall performance in big projects.
    • Reworked graphics and skins.
    • Enhanced workflow.
    • The GUI code was completely rewritten. It’s faster and supports alpha blending now.

    • Workaround for a host bug in Logic (garbage Midi data was sent to the plugin).
    • Fix for hosts that did not open GUI on plugin loading (Ableton, Logic).
    • Workaround for a Windows problem when mouse buttons are click-held for a long time.
    • Fix for a possible permission problem in OSX Lion.
    • Fixed a memory leak.
    • Legato, sustain pedal.
    • Fixed some GUI glitches.
    • Several smaller bugfixes.

Digital Synth Music releases Synth Vintage Bank 1 for RayBlaster

DSM Synth Vintage Bank 1 for RayBlaster

Digital Synth Music has released Synth Vintage Bank 1, a free soundset for the RayBlaster software synthesizer by Tone2.

This first new DSM sounds library was build specificaly for the RayBLASTER.

The library contain BASS / LEAD / SYNTH / PAD / BIG SYNTH reminiscent of the sounds of the 80′ but with the dynamics and the specific granularity of the RayBLASTER.

The library contain +64 new and unique presets and 11 waveforms

The soundset is currently available as a free download at DSM.

Tone2 & DNR Collaborative announce Wave Designer / RayBlaster / ElectraX Crossgrade

Tone2 Audiosoftware and DNR Collaborative have announced a crossgrade deal for DNR’s Wave Designer and Tone2′s RayBlaster and ElectraX users.

Tone2 / DNR crossgrade
Wave Designer allows users to create waveforms and export them to a .wav format file in order to be used as oscillators for synthesizers which support loading single-cycle waveforms, such as RayBlaster and ElectraX.

All users of either Tone2 RayBlaster or ElectraX can now get Wave Designer for $39 (reg $79) and Wave Designer customers can now get RayBlaster for $149 (reg. $199) and ElectraX for $179 (reg $189).

Registered customers can just log into the Tone2 forums for the crossgrade link, and DNR Wave Designer customers can either contact DNR for a crossgrade link, or use the link in the DNR Wave Designer newsletter.

Tone2 has announced the launch of a demo contest for Rayblaster, offering a chance to win store credit.

In light of our recent Rayblaster synthesizer release, we are now looking for some original demo songs, to show us what YOU can do with Rayblaster and its factory presets.

A nice chance to show your producer skills, check out what Rayblaster is capable of and at the same time win Tone2 products!

How?

Download the Rayblaster demo from our website and produce a short demo song, using only the factory presets. Already have the full version of Rayblaster? we encourage you to compete as well :-)

The best three songs will be picked by us, win their prize and will be featured in the product’s MP3 demo.
